COPAXONE®: Inventing a Better Way to Manage Illness
At Teva Neuroscience we recognize that successful treatment of a chronic disease requires more than a product — it requires a broad commitment to individuals living with the illness and their freedom to take control of their lives. This reflects the entrepreneurial spirit of Teva Neuroscience and underscores the deeper values of the company.
Our innovative products lie at the centre of the Teva Neuroscience approach to managing neurological diseases. Teva Neuroscience has pursued novel treatments for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, the treatment of migraines and has plans in the future to do the same for other diseases of the central nervous system.
COPAXONE® leads the way
Our flagship product is COPAXONE® (glatiramer acetate injection), the first non-interferon drug therapy indicated for the treatment of Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS). While COPAXONE® has helped thousands of people living with RRMS, our search for product improvement is ongoing.
Teva Neuroscience continues to advance treatment options with new devices for enhanced drug delivery and we are exploring new forms of the therapy. We continue to support research in different types of MS, as well as other neurodegenerative and inflammatory diseases.
Helping people live with MS
In our comprehensive approach to this complex illness, we go beyond the disease and beyond the treatment to help people enjoy a life as full and rewarding as possible.
Our Canadian clinical research group works with physicians and scientists to expand our knowledge of neurology treatments. We are committed to supporting research in this country, as well as partnering with institutes and individuals around the world.
