Multiple Sclerosis Patient Support
Some of the initiatives we’ve taken to expand to reach patients, caregivers, physicians and the community, include:
Shared Solutions®
Operating from the Montreal head office and working with patients throughout Canada, the Nurse Consultants within our Shared Solutions® support programme talk directly with people living with MS, answering their questions about therapy options and helping them better understand and manage their disease.
Shared Solutions® is a unique and personalized support programme available to anyone touched by MS (not limited to COPAXONE® patients) including family members, friends, caregivers and health professionals. Anyone with an interest in MS can access Shared Solutions® to benefit from insightful complimentary services including:
- Professional nurse counselling
- Ongoing pro-active follow-up
- Self-care advice and educational materials
- Injection training
- Reimbursement counseling
A few more details about 2 of these offerings:
Injection Training
From the comfort of their home, patients can receive the visit of a training nurse who will teach them proper COPAXONE® injection technique. Shared Solutions® takes care of coordinating these trainings across Canada through partnerships with trained home-care nurses.
Reimbursement counseling
The COPAXONE® Assistance Programme (CAP) can provide eligible patients with:
- Guidance and assistance in figuring out the terms of their insurance coverage
- Guidance and assistance during a loss or a change of insurance
- Possibility of free COPAXONE® therapy to bridge therapy access while waiting for their insurance coverage to become effective

Patients can inquire about these services by calling Shared Solutions® at 1-800-283-0034.
Shared Experiences
When a patient has an important decision to make, sometimes it helps to talk with individuals who have already faced the same issue. Choosing an MS therapy is one of these decisions, and Teva Neuroscience has made it possible for the MS patients to connect with someone who manages his or her MS with COPAXONE®. Shared Experiences participants can give the MS patients a personal perspective on this unique therapy and give them an opportunity to see how it may work with their lifestyle.
